Here are a couple of images taken by photographer Marco Mancini of the finals of the Rome International Choreography Competition. It was interesting adapting our two solos for the enormity of the outdoor stage at Rome’s National Academy of Dance. The lighting rig was quite extraordinary and it was great working with lighting designer Franco Marri who proved incredibly helpful.
As you may already have heard Emma was awarded third place for “Crossing Satie” and performed it in the Gala for Italian national television on the 6th of July and Cass received the Fausto Maria Franchi prize for outstanding performance with his work “Solo 1.5″.
